Lost in the Titanic Disaster, April 15, 1912 - This is a headstone from the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Of the 100 or so victims buried here, most have very simple stones with just a name or number. Crew members that gave their lives on that tragic day were marked with more elaborate stones. Wasn’t Ismay the one who asked the captain to light the last engine boiler?
